                Research Powerpoint:  Take notes – discuss many different aspects of researching and making sure to follow etiquette.  

             

               Study Island  – 2 lessons: *Compare and Contrast

                                                     *Context Clues

         *** I will have to shuffle some activities around due to testing and computer usage.**

Wednesday:  Bellwork:  Summarize the passage:  mark/code your paragraph

                   Research Vocabulary worksheet:  “what we already know”

                   Watch Flocabulary videos related to research: Discuss

                    Misplaced and Dangling Modifiers: Handout notes – discuss and recognize how modifiers are in the wrong place in a sentence.

                 “Sue T. Rex” summarizing worksheet

                Mythology:  read pages 675 – 679 “The Flight of Icarus”

                Read aloud and discuss.
